I’m registered as a Republican, usually vote a split ticket, genuinely trying to vote for the best candidate, regardless of party. However, I voted BLUE down the ticket in this midterm election. After the mess Trump created during Covid, then his insane behavior on January 6, I would never vote for him and don’t understand how anyone else could either. The tipping point for me in this election is the failure of congressional republicans to curtail the chaos and spending spree Trump has engaged in during his second term.
