n March 2005, Tracey Gardner-Tetso, a 33-year-old Mötley Crüe fan from Rosedale, Maryland, was getting ready to see her favorite band. A friend had bought her tickets for her birthday to see the Crüe at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C., during their Red, White & Crüe reunion tour. He was waiting for her at the show. She never made it.

Her phone went straight to voicemail. She didn’t show up for work the next morning. The people who knew her said she would never miss a Mötley Crüe concert, and they couldn’t figure out where she’d gone. Eleven days later, her black Pontiac Trans Am turned up in a motel parking lot in Glen Burnie, Maryland. It was locked, undamaged and empty. Police had almost nothing to go on, and the case was going cold fast.

Then the band found out.

Seven weeks after Tracey disappeared, Nikki Sixx got an email about a fan who had vanished on her way to their show. Mötley Crüe, better known for wrecking hotel rooms than helping solve mysteries, decided to do something. They doubled the reward with their own money, paid to send her photo out across the country and went on America’s Most Wanted to ask for help. Nikki also promised to hold two front-row tickets in her name at will call, hoping she’d show up to claim them.

What followed took more than five years. It involved a grainy security video, a single car remote, a husband whose story kept changing and a rare courtroom fight without the one piece of evidence everyone expected to see. This is the story of the missing Mötley Crüe fan, the band that tried to bring her home and the people who are still searching for her twenty years later.

Nice video dude…… this is why I love your channel, I don’t really care about Motley Crue, but I like hearing interesting stories from music history, that one was perfect, you got so into the true crime story I totally forgot for a minute that it was originally about Motley Crue, nice job!!
You make topics I generally wouldn’t care as much about but the way you do your videos makes them interesting, keep up the good work

The band did the right thing, but does anyone trust any level of government anymore ? From local traffic court to the supreme courts, anyone ? Maybe his life was destroyed cause he was the easiest target.
And , who is emotional about an ex wife who passed a decade earlier. Sad yes but think deeper thank the monkey brain we all have

He can't tell them because he don't know where she is. I bet you anything he killed her and dumped her in the river expecting that she would be found so he could collect the insurance. When she wasn't found he knew telling them wouldn't help them find her or help his case so he kept his mouth shut.

At the end of the day, "big rock stars" are just human beings too – and most of them are genuinely good and nice people. I've had several "personal interactions" with some of these "big stars", and they have been universally positive.

I've been a crue fan since I first saw them on MTV when I was just a boy and probably the best concert I've ever had the pleasure of seeing , DR Feel Good and then my youngest son took me to the stadium a couple years ago and we sat through a frog strangler of a storm and we left when Def Leppard started playing their 2nd song. Both shows were awesome but the one in the 80s was the reason they're going down in the history books. Thank you for bringing back some good memories

What a cool thing for Motley Crue to do. Good on them.
(Whenever a woman "disappears" or is murdered, It's almost always the intimate partner- husband, boyfriend, or ex. The stats don't lie.)
