I first listened to The Ultra-Violence a few years back and it absolutely blew me away with how raw and hard hitting their sound was. Absolutely fantastic band that deserves more credit!

Death Angel is, arguably depending on the day, my favorite thrash band…Act III, Ultra Violence, an The Evil Divide all have a hard time deciding which is the best album. I got to see them twice as openers, and still this day one of the best live thrash bands I've seen. I hope to see them headline one day, unfortunately I missed the Act III anniversary tour they recently did but I'll forever cherish the memory of me crowdsurfing and shaking Mark Osegueda's hand.

Listening to metal at the gym can have severe consequences. I once fucked up my elbow trying to throw the horns with a heavy dumbbell meant for a lat rows. Not Death Angel, but Deicide. Since then, I am more careful and only blast speed metal X'D.

The problem I have with The Ultra-Violence is that every time I blast Thrashers I need a bucket to put my face in because it fucking melted. Give me these guys any day instead of Metallica or (worse) Megadeth.

My favorite era of the early Death Angel is how hardcore they are. And punk rock🤘🏽✊🏽💪🏽

The fact that they had all that horrible stuff happen to them early on and just as they were about to really break just isn't right, but at least they got back together and finally starting to get (some) of the attention they deserve.

Andy Galeon is such a great drummer man, a lot of power, a lot of groove and some nasty fills

Even to this day, Death Angel is a major part of the bay's Filipino community, and I love that so much. These dudes rule, and here's hoping the fundraising helps. F cancer
