The Red Nation | October 19, 2026

Join TRN podcast host Nick Estes live in conversation with Sina Rahmani, producer of The Red Nation Podcast and host of The East is a Podcast, discussing not only the historic failure of the ZioAmerican imperialist war machine to achieve it’s stated war aims of toppling Iran’s government, but also Iran’s equally historic upending of the American siege around the country through so-called “sanctions.”

How badly? So badly. When we were two weeks into this war I got into an argument with my father in law explaining how badly we were getting our asses kicked. All he saw was things blowing up on gun-cam footage on Fox news. He didn't know about all of the middle east bases being destroyed, the thousands of drones that we have no counter for and the logistical impossibility of a ground invasion into a nation of 96 million people surrounded by mountains. And that was before the strait oif Hormuz was closed. When I see him now months later, he still thinks we're winning. Anyway, it doesn't matter how much of their shit you blow up. The control of the strait is better than a nuke for Iran because they can shut us down economically without a retaliatory strike in kind. They can endure economic pain…they've been doing it for 40 plus years. All of this talk about who has the most firepower is ridiculous. This is asymmetrical war, and the superpower always loses that war. And to your point about Iran being a country that can't be dislodged…even a nuke couldn't do that.

What has Trump achieved since he started the Iran war? 1) Higher food and gas prices. 2) Iran government still in power. 3) One billion dollars being wasted every single day for the war. 4) Thousands of innocent people have been killed. 5) All the US military bases in the Gulf have been destroyed, and … 6) The US and Israel are less safe. This last point is something corporate media will not touch …. when the Iranian and Gaza orphans grow up most of them will seek revenge … and violence will continue …. so bottom line is nothing good was accomplished.

In all asymmetric wars every asset possessed by one's opponent can be turned in to an advantage. By surrounding Iran with military bases, the Americans simply presented Iran with more targets.

"Not being able to point out any further retreat for the miserable Tsalagi (Cherokees), the extinction of the whole race will be proclaimed. Should we not therefore run all risks, and incur all consequences, rather than to submit to further loss of our country? Such treaties may be alright for men who are too old to hunt or fight. As for me, I have my young warriors about me. We will hold our land."

It’s interesting to watch the US Admin solemnly issuing demands as the rest of the world watches. You don’t issue demands when you are defeated. We are witnessing far more than this immediate dynamic. What is obvious to allies and enemies alike is that the US is not in control anymore. Saying no just became an option.
