Jef Warner on Meeting Nikki Sixx & Vince Neil “In my apartment”

I worked with Tommy Thayer and Black n' Blue, spanning several years in the 80s. I was Tommy Thayer's tech for a good while supporting their album "Nasty, nasty." We did the whole Yngwie Malmsteen (Trilogy) no American tour with Saxon and Black n' Blue. the Queensryche (Rage For Order) Keel, BnB, in no America, and a few jaunts with Triumph, Aerosmith, and Ted Nugent that I remember.
Tommy, Jamie, Pete, Jef (woop) and Patrick, were all super cool and fun to be around. There were plenty of after parties (krell) and carrying on as you might Imagine.
The tour bus, dubbed (the trophy room) had female clothing from undergarments, heels, you name it hanging from thru-out the bus.
A couple of key notes I remember were, Tommy having a "groan" (we dubbed the old man) periodically coming from his amp cabinets. He would ask when he came in "the old man here today?" Meaning, were the amps "groaning" again? And we'd giggle😅
Also, these guys played their asz off every night. All incredible musicians. Credit to Jef for playing some smokin solos! I used to call him Woop Schenker!
So yeah' just thought I'd chime in with some useless info! Peace✌️😎
