Dude Lars is so bad that I actually have so much appreciation from the grace of James toward Lars that it actually outshines how poorly Lars drums. Man he fuckin sucks, he just really enjoys playing I guess. He just lacks that natural time keeping ability or athleticism of so many successful drummers, and I can only imagine how cool the music would sound if someone competent could elevate it with actual decent drumming. I can't stand Metallica already but Lars makes it not just hard to enjoy but incredibly uncool.
Because I listen to the Butt Rock station when driving, I just so happened to hear a song the other night that I recognized when Pat watched that Staind video; looked it up, and it's I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace (I thought for sure it was Nickelback lol), and the Staind song had a very similar vocal melody
