Wisconsin is a test of the blue wave | America, Actually
Most of the focus in this year’s midterms is naturally on Congress. But the battle for control of state legislatures matters just as much, if not more.
Currently, Republicans hold a trifecta — control of the governorship, state senate, and state house — in 23 states, while Democrats hold 16.
Flipping just a handful of state seats can change who holds the majority of power nationwide. That has major policy implications. On this week’s episode of America, Actually, Vox’s Astead Herndon travels to Wisconsin to dig into the national strategy behind state-level trifectas, what’s at stake for working-class voters, and what it takes to flip rural districts.

Honestly I was undecided. I liked Francesca's platform, but her reaction to the encampment after Corey's shooting was disappointing. Her ideals are great, but I was concerned about her ability to handle public crisis.

David Crowley could commit to a Data Center Moratorium and he would win by 2:1 margins, which would also have outstanding implications for down ballot races. Every single day he doesn't back the 75% of people who want greater data center regulation he is gambling the election. If his current policy was enough then there wouldn't be a unity issue, data center moratorium is good politics and policy.

You need to fix your trifecta map. Minnesota is not a Republican trifecta. 0:42

0:45 that's not true at all. There are 50 states, 23 is less than half the states, and that's before you consider the fact that the blue states have more people in them.

Imo she lost because of the police shooting calling it an execution and supporting the homeless protestor encampment. I think 4k in Dane CO makes perfect sense

I hope Crowley loses to teach the party that we pick our officials and not them. Maybe after Fran does this humiliation ritual for the party they will back her, but probably not. The democratic party's modus operandi is to use people and control democracy to enrich the oligarchs while providing the smallest increases to benefits for the people as they can.

2nd time she answered the data centers questions she threw the Dem Governor under the bus 😔that, along with verbosity, won't win power

What exactly is your goal when you ask “was campaigning with Hasan Piker a mistake?”. Why do you attack/feed into right wing narratives? You have access to data that shows the attacks on Piker don’t work.
