Vera Rubin Just Found Something That Doesn’t Make Sense

Fexl | October 14, 2026

The Vera C. Rubin Observatory is designed to survey the entire visible southern sky every few nights, generating an unprecedented map of the changing universe. Early data runs have flagged anomalies—from unexpected transient light sources to solar system objects that defy standard orbital models. Here is a breakdown of what the observatory actually detected, why existing models fail to account for the data, and what astronomers are doing to verify the findings.

Repeating words and sentences. Repeating same words and sentences and concepts over and over then repeating again and again. Nothing new through out. Repeat Repeat. After then, it repeats more of the same thing over and over. It's stuck in a legacy large language model loop that repeats it's words and concepts. One new thing per 15 minutes that repeats. Hey how does that feel to you? Get it yet? Hey how does that feel to you? Get it yet? Hey how does that feel to you? Get it yet? STOP IT.

I see the comment from @DonecCadas below but after it started repeating the same things the second time I couldn't take it any more! I was even running it 2x and 3x speed to get past the repeat information hoping for the best. My hopes were dashed!

The funniest thing about Vera Rubin is she picked this particular discipline because it was
relatively free from the controversy, slower pace and gave her more time with her family.
Basically everything it no longer is since her research.

Doesn't interact with anything, and then interacts with gravity, Einstein's field equations would have a problem here, but science can patch anything, like a leaky boat, they don't find the hole, but they have plenty of patches.

LOL, scientists are worried is clickbait. Why would they worry. We don't know 1% about the universe, what happened and will happen. These headlines are totally absurd.

30 minute – 1 hour video every ~3 days from this channel. "Not only is it X, it's Y" script, constantly.

Please, if there's any real person behind this channel, and you ACTUALLY care about these topics, stop using AI. It's making you lazy and disregard quality for quantity.

The Rubin telescope has a huge blind spot. It’s built in the southern hemisphere so the sky around the northern celestial pole cannot be observed. In normal operation this means that 25 percent of the sky is not being mapped. So that’s where the surprises will come from!
