Watch how quickly immigration laws would be fixed if the govt. started tossing the employers in prison who hired illegals. How much taxpayer money has been wasted over the decades through failed immigration policies on both sides. Angie is correct it's all about profit over bodies they don't want it fixed because there is huge amounts of money folks can make.

I don't understand why there's not more talk about how tariffs are by nature a regressive tax. All this bloviating by the GOP, that they're not a "tax" is conflating the reality of the matter. These are regressive taxes, meant to balance the ledger due to the fact that they passed massive tax cuts for the oligarchs.

Oh the misguidedness of our precious youth. If you're taking a stand to knock someone else down (aka the billionaires), you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Take actions in your own lives to improve things on your own. Earn, save, develope, teach, set examples, etc etc. Don't protest because others have more money than you. Afterall, you are after what they have, money. The US is not perfect by any stretch, but it is factually the most free nation on God's green earth. Be thankful for that, not hateful. Don't bring in socialist ideas thinking you're going to get more free, or more wealthy. All you'll become is more dependent, less able, less free, and more bound to the over-regulation and lack of ability of ownership that comes with a socialist or communistic leadership. To make more money, you must be able to own assets. If they remove that ability from you, you will never be able to make the most of what money are are able to earn at a job. You will never be able to catch up to the millionaires and billionaires you despize so much. I hope these people realize some day that not all people that made large amounts of wealth inherited it. Most worked their asses off for it, and equally important to that, "learned" how and where to invest it. ….and I'm not talking about a simple 401k or IRA. Mostly, I hope our youth stops trying to spread the infection that is self-disabling to allow them to qualify for government subsidies. It's embarrassing and it takes from the people that are not just "legally" disabled, but are "actually" physically unable to work. There are jobs that will work for almost every condition out there. Stop playing the disabled card. Work hard, set the example, and spread love without protesting/rioting.
