Hhh last year Revolut Bank E-mailed me for referral and i have been told if i refer my friends i will receive up to £100 per referral so i just saw £100 per referral i referred 12 of my friends and family members i forced them to use the Revulot so my expectations was £1200 total then i received £10 for first referral then another £10 i was so angry i called them and asked where is the £100 per referral they told me “ didn’t you read the offer it’s up to £100 “ 😂

there's a lot of these i don't agree with, like thickness of the phone. no, i don't really care about the thickness at it's thickest part, i care about the thickness for 90% of it and where i'm going to be holding it. consumers aren't idiots, they can see a camera bump, but the thickness you actually do care about is the body where you're holding it.

And another thing i don't see the problem with is apple comparing the M5 to the M1, specifically when it comes to the M-series chips they were so good that people won't be upgrading every year or even every 3 yrs. I'm still on a M1 MacBook Pro and it's really good. Now if i want to upgrade i do actually want to look at the performance against the M1 and not M4, because that tells me the difference 4 generations make. And if i have an M2 it's also more relevant to look at the difference between M1 and M5 than M4 and M5. The vast vast vast majority of people aren't upgrading from an M4 to M5. And again as i stated, the M1 was so good and so popular that it's still probably the most used MacBooks right now, so it makes sense within that context. And i kinda get the argument with wanting to know the difference between M4 and M5 because then you might just get the M4 instead, but my problem with that is it's not really cheaper to get an M4, at least where i live. When the M5 came they both cost the same until the M4s eventually just disappeared from the market and were replaced by all M5. And even if i could save 50$ or 100$ i don't see anyone wanting to do that. if you're spending 1500$ on a PC you'll get the newest one because even if the improvements aren't that big, you know there will be some and it won't be worth 50$ to buy a 1 year old pc.

And another point i kinda disagree with but only have subjective anecdotes for are scratch and shatter resistance on phone screens. Sure i get that there's some manipulation or dishonestness with the numbers. But personally i feel like the glasses do get much better from year to year. My iphone Xs got tons of scratches and i had to fix the screen a couple of times from breaking after dropping it. Then my iphone 13 pro never shattered from anything but it still got some scratches, and now with my iPhone 17 pro it doesn't shatter from dropping it on literal bricks and nothing seems to scratch it. So the ceramic shield does indeed make a big difference and gets better and better
