I don't think I know a single song from this year, so I'm super not plugged into music, but I had no idea Madonna had made any music in 20 years. Also didn't know they still did the vmas

The only reason I knew of this year's VMAs was due to music video director Hype Williams posting his music videos on Instagram. So I'm thinking that he's going to get the Moon Man for this year. But I found out that he already received it back in '06. So I missed that ship lol.
But Snoop did a "DEEZ NUTS" joke in '26 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I appreciate Lina right at the end reminding people to listen to the podcast. I seem to remember Todd admitting that he's terrible at promotion and he kind of forgets to tell anyone that the podcast exists. (And it's great!)

How are they being so nonchalant about yung lean's performance. I know next to nothing about him but the performance was genuinely one of the most striking ones I've seen at an award show in years.

It was a really weird award night, they didn't even bother to call the mid tier artist and didnt show like 15 awards.
It felt really redundant and a waste of everyone times, the artists, the network and the fans goodwill.
And oh boy Sombr covering George Michael feels homophobic on how bad it is.

Todd stop whining. MTV is all we got now. Tearing it down won't help anybody or music. We should help building it back up. Cynical aholes are the reason music industry is doing the way it is.
