Right after I moved into my house, my neighbour‘s son in law who’s a real estate agent put his card in my mailbox to let us know we could sell it. Best part?? He was business partners with my real estate agent. Sure has made me feel welcome

The real estate industry in Canada is a complete ripoff. And yes, I did sell my first house myself… cost me $750 for a Grapevine listing instead of thousands in commission.

here is how to sell your house: take nice photos, set the appropriate price, be available to show your house always, unless you wanna risk getting a lockbox.

Yes. I've seen this happen in Australia. Sold in 24hrs! But it was for sale for 3 months previously with another realtor.

My parents have only sold their houses, as the owner. You are basically your own Realtor. They just have a close friend that is a lawyer right up the paperwork to sell it. It's so much cheaper that way.
