History has been rewritten. And before you stands modern-day Pangea… one massive super-continent. Our modern continents never separated. The air hits you first. It’s heavy, thick and hot, and smells of wet mud and pine. Your lawn is a dense fern jungle. Instead of your car in the driveway, you’re confronted by a massive, toothy beast, staring at you like you’re dinner.
You turn to go back inside, hoping to wake up from this nightmare. But there’s no house to go back into. This is happening, and it’s not a dream. Suddenly, you’d be in competition for apex predator status with this ancient cousin of the crocodile. If the continents had never split apart, this is who your neighbour would be. So, what would that world actually look like, what would rule it, and would humans have ever even evolved?

centre would be a pain, especially near the equator. The coastlines especially in the north and south would be prime real estate. Maritime innovations wouldn't have advanced as much. More land animals would have been extinct. Tyrannical empires would have direct land borders so Mongols, The third reich and More would have been at a higher advantage while the British and Japanese empires would have been at a disadvantage. Maybe events change so that humanity as we know it doesnt exist.

I'm sorry but it doesn't matter what creature or animal you pit us up against, the humans species has driven 700+ species to extinction. We have weapons of mass destruction, an intellect that goes beyond just survival or instincts, we out class any and all species, just equip yourself with a flamethrower and every creature will die, if you want to be ancient we could set up ground trap ditches to capture a massive amount of creatures douse them with oil and start a small spark and they are history after that👀
