The “infected woman” running towards the house in the snow as he is watching through the window has vibes of the people running in the Weapons movie. Chilling

The big reveal, and change of tone in Barbarian is the only scene in the last 20 years that genuinely frightened 😮the life out of me.I honestly thought Bill Skarsgard was the baddie ,how wrong I was

Love this guy, he is a genius & will leave a lasting impact on cinema. Props to his casting director as well, like all the great filmmakers his actors (no matter the size of the role) are perfection!

My problem with his take is thr movie feels less like Resident Evil horror and more like a dark comedy wearing Resident Evil's skin.

It didn't feel like someone finally had a great idea for a Resident Evil movie. It felt like Zach Cregger had an idea for his own horror movie and used the Resident Evil name, imagery, and built-in audience to get it made

Mr. Cregger don't make no more RE movies if you do at least put someone or a known monster of the game in the next one and try not to make it a comedy either 🙂

I adore how he's trying to sell his vision as a resident evil game point of view/idea but actually doesn't resemble anything close at all to the games lol. I like his style but he is more of a salesperson than a director at this point 😀

He explains everything in such a direct non-pedantic way, but he KNOWS what's up. He knows what works and why it works, but he keeps it simple. Gotta respect a guy who's not afraid to say "I did it this way because it looks cool."
