So Mike If everybody is going back to saying anything you do is White Lion then obviously that is your biggest success popularity wise. I not saying your not a talented artist. It's just White Lion is what made you like it, or not. Just embrace it and realize that's what people want out, of you.

I’ve been searching for a track I heard on noisy mothers in the uk, in the 90’s, for literally years. I knew it was called enemy but could never find it. I even watched whole episodes of NM on YouTube just to find it.

I just checked out Freak Of Nature because of this interview and found the track. It’s awesome! Mike Tramps voice is killer and seal and FON are both killer bands!

Mike rules and such a good and honest guy, especially here in this interview. Their label cost them 18 months of holding them up. That time would've solidified their position. By the time they were up and running the scene was getting weird and bands getting dropped. Their second album was also a bit odd and different. Too many Warrants and Trixters also killed the environment. They should've been huge ultimately considering their talent, and they would have made a big album.

I love Soundgarden and Alice in chains but I really didn't care for the pretentious attitude that grunge was better than metal. And fuck nirvana. That guy couldn't sing. He sounded like a sick animal.

All popular genres of metal are at one time popular have super loyal hardcore fans because metal much like what hip hop became was it's own culture disconnected from all other cultures it's a total lifestyle grunge still very popular and does very well nirvana getting millions of plays on spotify every year really was not a long lasting culture like metal by 97 I moved on to korn and was done with grunge but I still loved priest and Pantera if you were part of the metal culture its normally life long people say the l.a scen never broke till 83 simply not true it was having platinum albums since 78 van Halen the blue print band of all the l.a bands it was seriously one of the most popular genres for 12 years people say gnr had something to do with killing glam that's total bullshit guns was poster boys of glam make up and big hair just a little more nasty 12 years in pop music really that's incredible and part of the reason it fell people just got tired of it but the culture will always be there metal is for life

Mike rules and i love white lion but really respect him for telling it like it is. He is an artist and artists grow and change over time as we all do and i respect him for going with his heart and staying true to where he is today as an artist. The great thing is he continues to make art and music today that we can all enjoy. 😊

I don't understand why he is upset because the shadow of White Lion follows him all his life. Let me this get straight Mike? in your 14 solo albums don't have a single hit on the radio like "Wait" "Children Cry" "Radar Love" etc… every time Vince Neil goes solo from 10 songs 7 are motley crue…

When I was a child in secondary school in England in the 80s a girl recorded white lion on cassette tape for me with the band Icon on another tape. She was not a typical rocker in her appearance it schocked me she was so posh.

I believe Vito's injury to be quite true, years ago I also snapped something in my wrist and had the same symptons as to what he described as electric shocks when playing certain things on guitar and haven't heard anyone else ever describing it in that way, I had seen a doctor about it and it is carpal tunnel syndrome, was told it needs lots of rest as it is an inflammation of the wrist, surgery can potentially cause more damage from what I was told , as a result I only record whenever I can and haven't been able to play in bands for years, some days are better than others but to play in a band you have to be fairly consistent which wouldn't be fair to a band, so he's done the right thing.
