12:06 Show: "don't marry a man just for his money !" Also the show: "all of the questions are related to his money therefore encouraging you to think his money is the most important.

like they don't want the women to be gold diggers but they literally won't tell them anything else about him but his money ???

7:09 Classic legalized pedophilia at its finest…
I'm sorry but if you are above the age of 25 and go after someone who's younger than 21 I'm going to assume you're a weirdo.

Because it just screams legal pedophilia.

Imma be completely honest and as much as I hate saying, Darva was one of the best choices that could have come out of that show, (35 around the time). Bc she was established enough in her life that she could get out of it quickly and move on at least somewhat better than most. But if the 19 year old got picked? There's no telling what would have happened bc she easily a) could have become another DA victim and been trapped, or b) get out quickly but have an incredibly hard jumping off point getting her life back with how the media fucking slandered Darva every chance they could. (And of course, it could have happened to Darva too. But at this point in her life she had more sense to jump ship asap) But Darva was able to handle it with so much grace and I hope her life now is full and happy. And I hope the other women who ened up on that episode have been able to build good and full lives as well.

And the fact that the producer learned nothing and moved on to make the bachelor? Yeah, that tracks. 😒

It's funny how nowadays the idea of mariage is really anchored in love and is really romantic, that we shouldn't care about the money, while for literally thousands of years mariage was mostly transactional. Families definitely wanted to know what was in who's bank accounts 😂 i personally find it hard to see mariage as romantic 😶‍🌫️ (though I have strictly nothing against two consenting adults who get married out of love!)

My SIL was on that show. Her (toxic) family thought she was sooo smart and she would have made everyone miserable if she won anything but she was the only woman to leave without a dime. LOL Karla Robinson it’s public info. She’s a MAGA who thinks she’s super intelligent. OxyMORON. 😂

Scripted fake reality trash TV programming absolutely ruined American television.

First the broadcast networks all wanted to imitate that fake as hell survivor garbage but it got even worse when basic cable networks engaged in channel drift and became Scripted fake reality trash TV programming networks.

What's worse is that the basic cable networks became absolutely obsessed with all things Alaska and all because of the tundra twit Sarah Palin in what I've dubbed "redneck reality " television.

Then we had what were once known as the premium movie networks like HBO engaging in channel drift by abandoning movies altogether in favor of that miniseries programming garbage that started with that sopranos garbage in 99.

The only premium movie network that actually shows movies anymore is "The Movie Channel" (TMC) because unlike HBO,starz ,showtime etc. Which have largely replaced movies with miniseries programming garbage TMC despite being owned by showtime has remained true to its roots.

I havent finished the video yet so I hope there isnt some tragic story to Darva, but Ive paused it so I can sing "Darva Conger" to the tune of the Donkey Konga theme.

    Edit: oh fuck.

Imagine if Teruteru's execution involves a hell's kitchen type scenario where his dishes keep on getting denied by the head chef, leading to the customers & the head chef to get so frustrated the head chef "teaches" him how to cook by using him as an ingredient, giving the dish to the enraged customers in order to satisfy them.
