Not a subscriber but have seen past content. I like the band and the album but I respect your opinion. Its just nice to see someone who isn't big on PRESIDENT but at least can see some positives instead of unleashing large amounts of hate. I've seen them live twice and they are a much better live band because they don't use the vocal effects.
Also the mask for me is a case of its so bad that its good.

I’m coming to terms with the fact that I’m really enjoying this wave of “metal-adjacent” music. Call it that, call it “modern metal”, “pop metal”, whatever. These are the songs getting stuck in my head and that I’m the most excited to listen to lately. DOOMLOOP has been my jam all summer and I’m really happy with this album. I mean hell – Sleepwalking legit sounds like Big Time Rush with guitars and I’m not even mad about it 🤷♂️🤘

Imo the best thing about the project IS the mask lmao. Otherwise I can't really get down with the music, the vocals are one of those things that just doesn't mesh with the music (which is already treading thin ice)

This is a band i thought was okay when i first heard them, but nothing to go back to often.
However, i ended up seeing them live as an opener, and they are an amazing live act. Definitely a band that is better live than in the studio
