I hate the modern American medical system, and all of it is because of insurance and pharmaceuticals

I went to the ER for a pinched sciatica nerve. Couldn't walk worth a crap for like 2 weeks. They gave me a shot of liquid "super ibuprofen". I sat there, on a hospital bed in the hallway, for 1 hour. It didn't help.
They sent me downstairs to get some pills which only cost me 25$
The ER bill, $1,200.
This is why Obama tried to improve Healthcare.
The prices are hyper inflated and I honestly feel like it's just a scam.

Private insurance companies keep the prices high for everyone
To drop the prices, just get rid of private insurance. 😅

Laughing all the way to the bank Hunny. I just spent 3 weeks in hospital , being waited on hand, foot and finger, in the UK and it didn't cost me a penny! Sorry to mock your misfortune and our A&E (AER in the US?) is not that great but YAY for taxes that don't cost life-changing amounts of money for an accident 🤷 xx

Good ol' WebMD. I decided to change doctors when I shit you not, my primary care physician was entering my symptoms into the website. I could see his phone and what he was doing.

Here is a review, NOT FUNNY in the slightest. Maybe it’s the gummies handed out to the audience. The collapse of comedy too, not just the economy.

Canada. our tax dollars don't go to buying a war-mongering country. they go to ensuring our health care…

My Healthcare plan is to just die. I have zero interest in interacting with our "healthcare" system. Why bother when having money is somehow a qualifier

Would have been seen in a couple of hours in the uk, antibiotics and removal all paid for by your taxes.
Average guy up to the age of 50 costs the UK healthcare system around $270 per year, you guys get royally fleeced by your insurance companies.

I had to have a hysterectomy and when the hospital bill came in I saw the itemized section. $11,000 for the morphine pump. The bottle was half the size of a 5 hour energy drink and I only used half!! What's worse, they dont have a to go box!!

I've seen the special and I'll still watch the clips and shorts. It really is that good. Although, as a Minnesotan, it speaks to me and pisses me off at the same time. Damn cheese head…🤣

Per Google, the average monthly insurance premium is $625. Times 12 equals $7500.00. Add in a deductible of, at least, $5000.00 and coinsurance of 80 %. Why in the world would I carry insurance??? I would still owe all those expenses no matter how sick I get.

Went to ER. They said I needed a test. I requested a cheaper ultrasound option. The doctor said no, they needed a better view. $14,000 later 😱
Fight for the cheaper option. Also, ask for debt forgiveness. I did, and got it. Some people don't even know this is an option. Don't worry about how much you earn, just ask.

I had HPV warts removed from my hands last year with no insurance, expecting to pay about $1500. They quoted me at $6600 afterwards, but since I was paying in full, they cut me a discount: $838 (87.3% discount)! No guarantee that insurance would've covered any of it.
