To me, Living Weapon's debut is the best album of this month, together with Mastodon's Marrow Deep, and i'm kind of surprised it was missed in this video, as I thought it would be something up your alley. From other releases, Mouthbreather was also pretty dope, and I've yet to check out God's Hate EP, which supposedly is also good. Either way, amazing video, got a couple new albums to check out.

Best new albums of August for me are Gorod, Russian Circles, Fen, Warforged and Chelsea Wolfe albums.

Favorites would have to be Marilyn Manson and the Warning
Worst would be Fen- Elemental chapter pt 1 and Mastodon Great month overall

With every relisten, Marrow Deep has been climbing. It just knocked The Hunter out of the top five for me which means it’s going up against the original four.

Mastodon crushed it.

Mastodon my fav maybe even of the whole year… and I never liked their stuff till now only few songs.

Mastodon genuinely shocked me with how much I ended up loving it (having had a hard time getting into them up until a few days ago now).

Chelsea Wolfe is my overall favorite. Very pretty but with her top notch atmospheric elements with some nice ripping guitars and bass thrown in.

I'd say Fen was my favourite August release, and how in the hell did I miss Gorod this month? I have to give that album a listen. Pleasantly surprised with how good Marrow Deep from Mastodon. First time I enjoyed a release from them since Once More 'Round the Sun. Also loving The Triumph of Time and the Disillusioned by Labor of the Negative and Shed the Sleep by Coma Control (imagine a mashup between Opeth and Between the Buried and Me, and I feel it would sound like this album).

I'm so glad that I have some more metal bands to check out. A lot of what was mentioned I knew nothing about. Thanks for giving me more awesome music to listen to.
