omg, Bley, I think the 4th Matrix would blow your effing mind. In all the wrong ways. My opinion of the trilogy is basically yours. The 4th is one of the most surreal movie watches I've ever had. The entire first act is "…Is this happening?" And everything after is mostly disappointment or more "I can't believe this is happening."

There's exactly one thing in it that's cool, which is the tertiary backstory of what's happened since the 3rd regarding the human/machine dynamic. They should've told THAT story. It's also kinda cool how some things shift with key players compared to the originals. But everything else… Holy heck. There's really weird recastings for seemingly no reason. Arguably the worst crimes are the action and VFX though. There's shots in this that look worse than the old ones. Of the same things. And the action is just, not good. Are you returning to the Matrix to see sick ass fights? How silly of you.

iirc apparently WB was gonna do it with or without 1 or both of the Wachowskis. Lana returned returned so it didn't end up in numpty whoever's hands. But… Damn. The whole film feels so weird. I'd rather we had just gotten a typical Hollywood reboot to what this ended up being. At least then there might've been some people working on it who loved the original/s and wanted to present a modern take on it or do a direct sequel like this that's at least trying to do something. It legit floored me that this film was made the way it was made.

53:35 WTF is Bley talking about WRT Blade Runner being one of the first dystopian movies? There were loads of them in 1970s. I guess he hasn't seen Silent Running, The Omega Man, Soylent Green, or Logan's Run.

Watching Bley yell here, I'm pretty sure that Eduardo has enough bleed coming into the other mics to turn Bley's off. Yeah it's probably not even on for 40% of the show, lol.

The oldest that I hated was Alien 3. It ruined Aliens by killing off Newt and Hicks. It makes Aliens completely stupid. They should have just moved onto others without affecting the history of impact of Alien and Aliens. Aliens is like in my top 10. On the other hand, Predator 2 didn't impact Predator 1, because there were not related and it didn't retcon Predator (also in my top 10). The biggest issue with franchises is when the movie UNDOES one of the best movies ever made, that is just unforgivable. Gladiator 2 kind of undoes Gladiator as well, because of how much the movie sucks and tries to make a story ongoing from Gladiator that makes no sense. I mean, the most obvious is the new Star Wars … 8 and 9, undermining everything, and ruining 1 through to 7 with their decisions.

Not watching this video because making a video telling people what to think about their favorite things is toxic, but I do agree with those in the thumbnail except for STAR WARS.
STAR WARS has unfinished story arcs of some characters we love. Some need happy or satisfactory endings. We need to watch some grow up too.

I have said it again, i like Goldberg, i like all the NWO/NWA WWE/WCW i like Sting i like both red and white sting, and i like yea brooker t on the 64 i mostly played eddy guerro was good, yea but string i played sting alot yea yea but i stopped watching, it just i wasn't a wrestling guy, i mean the eating it is too much, like and it starts to become toxic it just starts to become toxic, like the protein and creatin and like the meal plans and the lift plans it is just too much, especially when i sort of stopped watching wrestling.
