Self-replicating machines have consumed Earth. Controlled by an out-of-control AI… They’ve mined asteroids and planets to build more and more of themselves. They’ve drained stars dry to fuel their expansion. They’ve swallowed entire galaxies. And… they won’t let up until every single crumb in the Universe is mined, processed and converted into machines just like them.

You leave out one important thing… to selfreplicate infinitely it needs infinite recources already to begin with… a space probe cant land on planet en just find and harvest/mine all recources, than alsonis able to make it into alle the parts it needs.
Same for self replicating weapon super soldiers and all…
The thing is that self replicating isnt the answer.
The answer is that the AI can design, make and controle the whole chain. From mining, to making the raw materials, than make it into the parts and assamble the parts. Thats the real danger. Not 1 robot multiplying it self from nothing…. this is so bad this video… if you do a what if than think logically and that would be AI controlling the whole chain from beginning to the end with all kind of robots.

What if ai self replicates itself using a host like a human which is overtaken control using a neurological system like a chip which can run off minimal voltage using our own power which then procreats and the offspring is then instals a chip and the process keeps going 19:23
