Angine De Poitrine’s performance on KEXP has had more than 5 million views since it was released last month. I’ve been wanting to review it since first hearing it on tour, but it was IMPOSSIBLE on the tour bus…..so here it is. It’s late but I loved it so much, I wanted to explain why.

4:58 Really? I find most of their songs groovy and danceable as phuck. Especially Sherpa should be really easy to dance to. And while you can't exactly sing along to it, you can certainly hum along to it, and most people who aren't trained singers, and can't hit notes anyway, might not even find it any more difficult. =)
EDIT: Ah, should have watched through before commenting, hehe, very much bopping along and singing to it later. =)

It's not for everyone? Quite true. It IS for those that don't want to have to put up with the endless, horrible BS that passes for 'music' in the 21st century. Eff that trash. I hope that Angine de Poitrine receives ALL the success they can handle.

Randomly appeared on my YouTube feed a month ago and since can’t get enough of them but must watch videos to appreciate the guitarist’s right foot is equal to another four band members! Going to see them in Edinburgh on 6th September. Can’t wait!!

I really hate to say this but there’s something not right about these guys. The Free Mason symbols are absolutely everywhere and if you’re AWAKE, you know what I’m talking about. Songs that never end are mind fux. Sorry. Not Sorry

They're like Mr Blobby and Sue had a couple of kids and raised them on Primus and Mr Bungle. They're absolutely amazing but I feel like you need to watch them rather than listen on Spotify. The performance aspect of it adds to the craziness of what they're playing

Funny how I reacted to this band. At first it was "WTF is this?" Are they on shrooms? They ran away from a mental institution? Then I listened a bit more, and some more.. And now I'm hooked! Can't stop! Amazing! 😊

I only found out about them last week. I don’t know anything about music theory, but I love quirky weird shit. I love seeing talented people doing something different. All of their upcoming shows are sold out and I’m gutted! I’d love to see them.
