this is gonna be an odd take but like… In Iran's defense they were willing to cooperate as long as one of their strategic allies stopped getting bombed. The US was willing to agree to that concession, everything was looking good. But then an unnamed strategic ally of the US said, "You know what!? No! Im going to start bombing even harder!" and like its hard to make a deal in that situation. its like if the US and China were at war and they decided to make a peace deal, but Russia (china ally in this scenario) just kept bombing Canada

You guys have no idea how much I needed this. I kept thinking you'd be back in two to three weeks, only to find out you're not coming back until September 21st! A whole month! Seth looks really great with a scruffy face. Sal is freaking hilarious. Please do these at least once a week until you're back 😭

This was such a delightful surprise. What a treat. Not only a proof of life that you're well and thriving, but an extended look behind the curtain at the dynamics behind the making of 'A Closer Look'. This should be at minimum a weekly podcast during this long hiatus and all future ones as well. Seth and Sal riffing off each other in a constant exchange of jokes and laughter was a joy to watch. Within the first minutes, I was laughing out loud. The deep dive into the reflecting pool fiasco was so clever and insightful. Kudos to Sal for mentioning the motorcade driving over the whole pool – something the mainstream media usually ignores. This was such a gift to the jackal community. Thank you Seth, Sal and team. Looking forward to the next one.
