This is a lesson on how not to interview. Before I started watching this I had never heard of Neil Brenan . My life was so much better then. Despite the fact that I am a Graig Ferguson fan I had to stop after 4 minutes 40 seconds.

I like Ferguson. But the big "H" is bs, as is Anne Frank's story (an admitted fabrication by her relatives). Terrible interview because the host wants to be more important than his guest.

So my dad called me and was like, 'Who is Craig Ferguson?' and I told him, and he said 'Because he wants me to be on his show.' My father was not an entertainer of any sort, he was a pretty serious writer, who had done a book about the problem of evil in the world, and Craig apparently just liked the book. It had come out like four years before, there was no promo angle, and so my dad went on, and then Craig had him back. And he said it was fun, a good appearance, he really liked Craig; I've watched the appearances a few times and I always thought it was cool because no other talk show host of that era would do something so left-field.

Dave made me laugh every night but Craig and Geoff made me laugh so hard that I would have tears and my face would hurt. Not every night, thankfully… but more than anyone else. Late night hasn't been the same since.
