Step back into Japanese television at the end of the 1990s with a completely raw transfer from an original S-VHS taped in 1997. 

There are **no edits, no cuts, and no attempt to reorganize or curate the commercials**. What was recorded on the tape is what you’ll see here, in the same order it survived.

That also means repeats are possible. Commercials may appear more than once, sequences may feel unusual, and the recording may contain the little imperfections and quirks you’d expect from an original analog tape.

Rather than turning the footage into a modern compilation, I wanted to preserve the experience of finding an old S-VHS tape and simply pressing PLAY.

These commercials offer a fascinating snapshot of everyday Japan during the late 1990s. Advertising, fashion, music, celebrities, food, electronics, cars, drinks, graphic design, jingles, and countless small details that were completely ordinary at the time but now feel like artifacts from another world.

**編集・カット・並べ替えは一切なし。**
テープに残っていた映像を、録画されていた順番のまま収録しています。

そのため、同じCMが何度か登場したり、突然雰囲気が変わったり、アナログテープならではのノイズや映像の揺れが見られることもあります。

でも、それも含めて1997年の空気。

きれいに編集されたCM集ではなく、昔のS-VHSテープを棚から見つけて、何十年ぶりかにそのまま再生ボタンを押したような感覚を楽しんでもらえたらと思います。

懐かしいファッション、音楽、芸能人、食品、飲料、家電、自動車、グラフィックデザイン、ジングル……。

当時は何気なくテレビから流れていたものばかりですが、今こうして見ると、そのひとつひとつに1990年代後半の日本の日常や空気が詰まっています。
