Google’s quantum computer just did something no quantum computer has ever done: produced a result that can actually be checked. In October 2025, Willow ran an algorithm called Quantum Echoes 13,000 times faster than the world’s best supercomputer, and, unlike every “quantum supremacy” claim before it, this one survived attempts by scientists to prove it wrong.

This video breaks down how the experiment worked, why physicists are still arguing over it, and what it means that the same math measuring this chip also describes the inside of a black hole.

The three great advances that got us out of the caves and into the cities –
    The harnessing of fire.
    The invention of the wheel.
The creation of the first Tandoori Mixed Grill.

God, could we get any more lame as a society? “Hurr durr, supremacy is a slur because racism or something!” We are such a brain dead society. You don’t just keep changing offensive words, any word you associate with that idea will become offensive.

OK idea is valid, but getting that single result would be actually emulating the one-way encryption algorithm (not the solution to algiorithm or backward search, but actual algorithm) that has the avalanche effect. So you will not deal with many answers but a single peak. That would be the right start… because there could be only one answer or maybe just a few, but we would know exactly what they are and we could reverse engineer them to actual solutions… so you can actually convert the data from quantum machines to understandable form. Well, kind of and not always, but would be just a start in right direction. That is how much I could pick up from my time travels… Cheers!

The final number in Pi is 3. Nobody can prove or disprove that so I beat quantum. Checks and balances yet we remain ignorant and are TOLD what reality IS today which differs from yesterday and we will learn what it will be tomorrow and NEVER question the dictated “trooth” (because it’s not real TRUTH but sounds like it). 5:01

Everyones always looking for answers to Life and Death. Awhile Quantum computers are about neither of the two concepts. Exception for humans that built and operate It. 😅

So let me get this right: a quantum computer works faster than anything else we have. In the same fields we are creating Ai that can think faster than a human. So (and I’m just spit balling here) what happens when an Ai gets (or more terrifyingly takes) access to a Quantum computer? Are we messing with Pandora’s box here? Remember the matrix line that said: we marvelled at our own magnificence while giving birth to Ai 😳

    TL;DW:

Google's newest quantum computer has completed an incredibly long statistical algorithm in a stunningly short amount of time. However, many were skeptical at the result and think it makes only small progress toward practical quantum computing.

Ngl, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to quantum mechanics but… Why couldn't they have the quantum computer solve an easier problem that the classical computers could also solve in a manageable amount of time?
