A lot of these ads advertise products that are still sold today. They could really put these commercials back on tv! But I guess the prices wouldn't be the same… 😭😭why couldn't I experience these times?! I guess if I can't experience these times now hopefully, I can be optimistic enough to hope the succeeding generations will. All I can do is be optimistic these days. Besides God, it's all we have.

Every commercials they did were much effort and creativity and 100x better compared to current shithole of commercials. This current world is so much soulless and dead. As a guy born in 2004, 90s felt like the last time it when life was simple, not saying everything is better in the 90s which there were problems and weird shit going on but we didnt have social media to hear that and we didnt know how good we had until its fully gone forever.

The "Goodwill Games" wasn't ringing a bell to me, but it turns out they were something Ted Turner came up with in response to the political issues going on with the Olympics in the 80s. Didn't exactly last long, with only six games total, with the last one happening in 2001.
I did like those old Quilted Northern ads.
